A gloriously colourful celebration of Knocknaheeny, Cork, packed with familiar places, local pride and community spirit.

I really enjoyed creating this illustration of Knocknaheeny. I had great help from LinkPoint Youth Centre and the young people of Knocknaheeny. In fact, you can see a large mural of this illustration in LinkPoint! Knocknaheeny is full of colour and community, and I hope I captured it in this piece.

I’ve included lots of familiar places and little details… can you spot them?

LinkPoint Youth Services, The Kabin Studio, Singleton’s SuperValu of Hollyhill, Apache Pizza & Burger Hut, The Reservoir, The Antenna, St Mary's on the Hill Church, Credit Union, The Complex, Kilmore Road Park, Positive Vibes mural, The Library and St Annes, along with people and dogs bringing the streets to life.

A thoughtful gift for someone who calls Knocknaheeny home, holds happy memories of the neighbourhood or carries it close to their heart from afar. The perfect memory of home, no matter where in the world you are. Find Comfort in Colour.
